Zone 5 was started in late 2008 by Liam Gomez and Ben Spencer.
Originally created as a casual Xbox 360 gaming collective, Zone5Gaming is now home to the official Zone 5 teams, as well as a thriving multi-platform community.
With the recent establishment of the UKeSA (United Kingdom eSports Association, http://www.enemydown.eu/ukesa), the admin team decided that the best course of action was to move away from Xbox 360 exclusivity, and organise games across all next-generation platforms. This will hopefully allow us to truly flourish as a community and place us on the tournament gaming stage.
While keeping the "collective gaming" side of Zone 5, we will also be looking to establish official Zone 5 teams for tournament and league play, and to represent us within the gaming and eSports community... Try-outs coming soon!
